Company History
Gremillion & Pou was established in 1981 by Anne Gremillion and Robert Pou as a full-service advertising agency. Through the years, G&P has earned a reputation for hard work and progressive marketing. G&P understands market trends and takes full advantage of new advertising tactics.
The Executive Management team, lead by Anne Gremillion and Robert Pou, also includes John Gayle and Jeffrey Romph. This team is responsible for driving the agency forward into new realms of marketing, but more importantly, they are personally involved in every account that G&P represents. This hands-on approach is the hallmark of the agency and ensures greater quality, efficiency and results for the client.
G&P was founded on these basic principles:

Client service is extremely important to us. From the beginning, you are assigned a marketing team from G&P, including an Account Executive personally responsible for your marketing projects – no matter how large or small. More importantly, our senior partners oversee all projects and clients, assuring that your marketing needs are reviewed by the most experienced professionals at G&P.

Hard work and progressive thinking is central to how we develop marketing solutions that work, but G&P doesn’t stop there. We carefully track the actual results of our initiatives and then feed that information back into our planning. G&P doesn’t set a plan in motion and then abandon it. We work it all the way through and maintain open dialog with our clients about the pros and cons of the marketing efforts at work, so those efforts can be adjusted for maximum results.

G&P is proud of the success stories for our clients, but we know all too well the economy never rests and neither do we. A market sector can change daily and G&P is ready to change with it. That’s why within the walls of G&P we have trained Google Advertising Professionals, website design and SEO, the latest e-communications with Campaign Enterprise and advanced mapping and demographic capabilities with MapInfo and Census, to mention just a few of our in-house, advanced marketing capabilities.
Executive Management
Anne Gremillion - Principal
Anne is a Texas native who moved to Shreveport in 1972. She graduated from Centenary College in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Her first job in marketing was serving as the Sales Service Director for KSLA-TV in 1975. In 1976, KEEL radio hired Anne to be their chief copywriter/producer. She was brought into the sales force for KEEL’s sister station, KMBQ in the fall of 1976. Anne served as Sales Manager of the station from 1978 until she left to open Gremillion & Pou. She currently serves as a board member for the Southern University Shreveport Foundation, the Red River Advisory Panel and the Alliance for Education.
Robert Pou – Principal
Robert is a lifelong resident of Shreveport, Louisiana. He graduated from Louisiana State University - Baton Rouge in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts Journalism degree. Prior to opening Gremillion & Pou and Associates, Inc., he worked as a part-time sports writer for the Baton Rouge Morning Advocate newspaper; worked as a local radio sales representative for two years at KMBQ; and managed the Eye Level Bus Bench Company in Shreveport and Bossier City for one year. He currently serves as President on the Board of Trustees at Loyola College Prep in Shreveport, and serves as a member of the steering committee for Louisiana State University’s Tiger Athletic Foundation.
John Gayle – VP-Group Account Director
John Gayle graduated from Centenary College in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. He joined G&P in 1992 with a strong background in writing and editing. At G&P, he began as a public relations AE, but soon was given responsibility for all aspects of agency work. John is now part of G&P’s executive management team, supervises several accounts, manages cooperative accounts and provides strategic support for the agency. He is an avid arts supporter, an amateur actor and astronomer and enjoys the great outdoors.
Jeffrey Romph – VP-Group Account Director
Jeffrey’s marketing experience lies in acquisition and retention marketing, direct marketing, database analysis/segmentation, new business development, and Six Sigma projects focused on enhancing the customer experience. He has held positions at American Home Shield - a division of ServiceMaster (Memphis, TN), Chandler Ehrlich Advertising (Memphis, TN), Gold Strike Casino Resort (Tunica, MS), Harrah’s Casino & Hotel (Tunica, MS), and Cleveland Magazine (Cleveland, OH). He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Memphis and a BA from Kenyon College in Gambier, OH.
